McDonald’s Canada sent Twitter into a frenzy over the weekend. The cryptic message teased that something we’ve been “asking for” is coming on August 31st.

Of course, fans of the legendary McPizza immediately began speculating that that was the elusive item coming back to the menu. However, even McDonald’s has put that rumour to rest by subsequently tweeting, “it’s not mcpizza”.

Could it be the McRib? Canadian fans were disappointed recently when the McRib made a return, but only to US locations.

Others have speculated that it’s a spicy nugget.

We will have to wait until tomorrow (August 31st) to find out.
