FIRST LOOK: Disney-Pixar's New Short Film Bao!

We are so excited for The Incredibles 2! Before the movie, Disney-Pixar will release a new short film!

The film is sure to be a tearjerker! It’s called Bao. Bao is all about a Mom who is alone at home, after all her kids have moved out of the house. One day, she decides to make dumplings , and one of the dumplings come alive!

The story is an adaptation of the Gingerbread Man story tale.

This short film is significant because the director is Domee Shi. She is the first woman to direct a Disney-Pixar film.

This is a tribute to her parents who grew up in china, and immigrated to Canada and settled in the U.S. They would tell her this story when she was a kid!
