Alessia Cara Releases ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from Disney Movie, ‘Moana’!

Alessia Cara’s brand new song for the Disney animation movie was written by Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda and tells the story of a young princess named ‘Moana’ (played by Auli’i Cravahlo), who along with a demigod named ‘Maui’ (played by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson) go on a search for a mystery, magical island.

Nicole Scherzinger and Phillipa Soo also sing in the movie, which comes out November 23^rd.

The film is directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, who have previously worked on two other Disney classics, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid.
