The 'Christmas' version of "Come From Away" happened in Newfoundland on Christmas day, when an airplane full of passengers was diverted to Deer Lake, Newfoundland because of bad weather, and the 75 passengers were stranded there! The community came together, and put on a beautiful Christmas dinner for all the passengers! Talk about the 'reason for the season'!
