‘They made me an offer I couldn’t refuse’. That’s how British comedian Ricky Gervais explains his return to the Golden Globes as host.  In 2017, Gervais said in an interview with People that he really wanted to host again. “There’s something in the news every day that makes me go, I wish I was doing the Globes tonight,” he said.  Golden Globe nominations will be announced December 9 and the awards will be handed out January 5th and will air on NBC.
