Hot Docs Film Festival 2019 wrapped with record attendance of 228,000 watching 451 public screenings over 11 days.   Sunday night the movie Prey directed by Matt Gallagher, received the Rogers Audience Award for Best Canadian Documentary, along with a $50,000 cash prize, courtesy of Rogers Group of Funds.  Prey is a story of deceit, corruption and vindication that follows a survivor of clergy sexual abuse as he and his lawyer take on the Catholic Church in an Ontario court.  Watch the trailer here.
