To celebrate Taylor Swift’s birthday (Dec 13) she announced that she’s officially teaming up with Netflix and together, a Reputation Stadium Tour concert special will air on New Years Eve!

 

 

Taylor tweeted, “Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes! Today I finally get to show you something we’ve been working on for a while … the trailer for the Reputation Stadium Tour! The entire concert film will premiere on Netflix at 12:01AM PT December 31.”  What do you expect to see in this concert special? Rolling Stone explains, “The movie highlights the expansive stage production of the 2018 tour, which promoted Swift’s sixth LP, 2017’s Reputation. The 60,000-person show includes pyrotechnics, fireworks, multiple stages and a 63-foot cobra.”

 

 

 

Taylor also has a message for all of her fans, “You made this tour so insanely fun for all of us on stage, and I’m really excited that we will have this memento of the memories we all made together this year.  I also got to share the stage with such wildly talented people [openers Camila Cabello and Charli XCX]. and my band and dancers who shine so brightly in this film.  You’re the best.  Thank you for everything.”

 

 

According to E! News, “Swift’s Reputation Tour closed with $345.7 million, according to Billboard Boxsore – more than any other musical act in 2018.  In total, she performed 53 concerts around the world.  On select dates, Swift added special guests like Selena Gomez, Faith Hill, Niall Horan, Tim McGraw, John Mellencamp, Shawn Mendes, Maren Morris and Sugarland among others.”
