With only a few hours until tonight’s 54th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast, Damnit Maurie managed to the get the director of the telecast, Louis Horvitz, on the phone to talk about how the Grammy production team found out the news of the death of Whitney Houston, and what the show has planned in tribute to the fallen singer.

Broadcast legend Larry King interviewed Whitney Houston on several occasions throughout his career, and he was in attendance at last nights Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party that was held inside the Beverly Hilton where Whitney had passed away just hours before.

Larry tells Damnit Maurie what the mood was like inside last nights party, and discusses his encounters with Whitney throughout the years.
