Eric Dane from Grey’s Anatomy  has voluntarily checked into rehab…..details inside….!

Dr. McSteamy is trading in his scrubs for a hospital gown. Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane has checked into a rehab facility in Los Angeles, reports People.

“Actor Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus. He reports back to work next week. Business as usual,” his rep says in a statement, reports the mag.

According to Star magazine, Dane chose to address the problem because he felt he had “too much to lose” if things fell apart, said a source. The insider revealed, “Eric felt things spiraling out of control and decided he needed to get some help.”

Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, recently announced they’re expecting their second child. The couple welcomed their first, daughter Billie Beatrice, last March.

We’re sending out good vibes and wishes for a speedy recovery. Filming on Grey’s Anatomy resumes July 19, and the show wouldn’t be the same without shirtless McSteamy.  (or, so I’m told…lol)
