Gord Rennie (that’s me) graduated from Humber College’s Radio program in 1994 and before I landed my first job in radio in 1996, there were some lean years in which I did a number of jobs to pay the bills.
My first job out of College, I was a target for a local archery club (thankfully they weren’t very good) then I was a dribble glass inspector for a novelty toy company. Oh! I was in line to be a throw rug for the Queen of England but some guy named Matt was better suited for the job.
I am a major Elvis Presley Fan…I love all kinds of music from Frank Sinatra to Frank Zappa…I love movies…I like watching hockey with a big ol’ mess of wings and a frosty beer.
I am very happy to be a part of the CHFI family and I love radio and I love what I do…although I just got my certificate for VCR repair in the mail, you know just in case I need something to fall back on.
