23 Million Raised :”Hurricane Sandy Coming Together” Telethon

The live, one-hour benefit telethon to raise money for victims of Hurricane Sandy, the destructive storm that devastated the East Coast this week, raised nearly $23 million.

Bruce Springsteen, Steven Tyler, Christina Aguilera, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart and others performed Friday night to raise money for the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross announced yesterday that the event triggered a record number of individual donations by phone, text and online.

Rolling Stones 10,000,000 Friends

All four Rolling Stones recently took to their website to thank fans for reaching ten million Facebook friends. It is short and sweet. You can’t see it in this shot but there is a song list taped to Charlies’ drum kit, perhaps the tunes they are rehearsing, getting ready for the BIG tour!! We can only hope!
