Darryl grew up in a little pocket of south Etobicoke called Alderwood, and can still remember all his lines from when he played the Rabbi in Fiddler On The Roof.  Grade 10.  It was a very good year.

Attending Ryerson’s Radio and Television Arts program with the intention of being the cameraman on Hockey Night in Canada, he instead  fell in love with radio, and upon graduation packed up the U-Haul to get his start at a country station in  Brandon, Manitoba.

Suffering through 2 of the coldest winters in the history of humankind (not a word of a lie: my roommate’s eyes froze shut once while shoveling the driveway!) it was time to head back east.  After stops in St. Catharines (2 things on restaurant menus: chicken wings, and chicken wings)  and Montreal (2 sections in restaurant dining rooms: smoking, and chain smoking) he returned home to his beloved Toronto, and is thrilled to be a part of the CHFI family.

In his spare time Darryl loves to play hockey,  read newspapers, watch planes land, annoy his wife Tanya, and shower his 4 year-old girl Kayla with all kinds of hugs and kisses.
