On Saturday June 23rd, close to 300 participants will ride and walk together in the heart of G. Ross Lord Park, for our annual CARDathon in the Park fundraiser.
The Community Association for Riding for the Disabled helps almost 500 children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities each year. Through their specialized therapeutic riding programs, clients are able to improve their muscle strength, balance, communication and motor skills. The time clients spend at CARD each week also help to build greater self-confidence and learn new life skills to overcome personal obstacles and help them to live in their own homes and communities.
Come celebrate the magic of the horse! You can help by donating to one of the teams, sponsor the event, or join in to help deliver this remarkable and successful therapeutic riding program in the heart of the city.
