Could Wham! Be Reuniting?

Could George Michael really be planning to reunite the band that made him world famous?  The superstar singer has recently dropped several hints that he could re-form his 1980s pop duo Wham! in the near future – even suggesting a one-off headline performance at ­the Glastonbury festival.  George enjoyed massive success when he teamed up with Andrew Ridgeley in 1981 but split five years later, leaving fans distraught. TTC Driver Apologizes For Running A Red Light

Does the punishment of dismissal fit the transgression of a TTC bus driver, who was caught on video running a red light?  The video makes it appear that the bus only narrowly missed hitting a woman about to step off the curb into the intersection. But the driver says she saw the pedestrian and never took her eyes off her as she moved the bus through the intersection.  In an emotional written statement to TTC management, released by the transit workers’ union, the driver blames herself for “an unacceptable lack of judgment.”  The union says the woman doesn’t want to be identified because she is embarrassed and doesn’t want to burden her children.  While all drivers make mistakes, the operator says she knows that a bus driver is under more scrutiny. (and, rightly so!)

It’s a royal photobomb alert! Prince Harry steals all the attention in this photo with New Zealand Commonwealth officials after watching the 800m women’s freestyle swim in Glasgow last night.
