Wow…ANOTHER GM Recall

GM-Recall

GM issued six more recall notices covering more than 700,000 vehicles Wednesday, bringing its total to 60 separate recalls of almost 30 million vehicles this year alone. The recalls announced Wednesday include 718,000 cars, SUVs and trucks, including 49,783 in Canada.

Fox Found Napping On City Bus

A fox was found sleeping on the back seats of an Ottawa city bus on Wednesday morning, and a photograph of the napping animal is making a big splash online.

An OC Transpo employee made the cute discovery at a bus parking garage on Industrial Avenue in Ottawa’s east end.

Jimmy Fallon Works Out With The Rock (In 1984)

On last night’s episode of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and Dwayne Johnson teamed up to “hustle for the muscle” in workout videos called “The Fungo Brothers.” The two sweated it out by performing several types of workouts, including the thigh cruncher, the twist and the Shake Weight.

Big Problems At StubHub

Cyber thieves got into more than 1,000 StubHub customers’ accounts and fraudulently bought tickets for events through the online ticket reseller, a law enforcement official and the company said.  Arrests were expected in a case that sprawled across international borders, said the official, who wasn’t authorized to discuss it ahead of arrests being announced and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

2014 Commonwealth Games Underway In Glasgow

The XX Commonwealth Games begin today in Glasgow, Scotland.

Rod Stewart and Susan Boyle will perform and Team Canada will march into Celtic Park for the opening ceremony, this afternoon!

Veteran trap shooter Susan Nattrass, and eight-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, will act as Canada’s flag-bearer.

Canada has sent a team of 265 athletes — its largest ever for a Commonwealth Games held outside the country.

The Canadian team is aiming to finish in the top three in the overall medal standings after falling to fourth at the 2010 Games in Delhi, India. Go Canada GO! (More details inside)
