Anne-Marie has released an acoustic version of ‘2002’, a record that’s on her debut album ‘Speak Your Mind’ which dropped back in April and, she’s performing alongside a very special guest.  The one and only Ed Sheeran.

‘2002’ was co-written by Ed and the song, which is my FAVOURITE from Anne-Marie, samples favourite hits from the 90’s and early 2000’s.  The song includes Britney Spears’ ‘Baby One More Time’, NSync’s ‘Bye Bye Bye’, Nelly’s ‘Ride Wit Me’ and Jay-Z’s ’99 Problems’.
Check out these lyrics:

“Oops I got ninety-nine problems singing bye, bye, bye / Hold up, if you wanna go and take a ride with me
Better hit me, baby, one more time / Paint a picture for you and me
Of the days when we were young / Singing at the top of both our lungs”

And Ed wasn’t the only writer on this banger of a song – Julia Michaels also co-wrote the pop track which is probably why it sounds AMAZING!
In a video posted online, Anne captions it, “Yo I love this mug.  It feels good singing our, together!  Although I think he [Ed] sings it better!

Both Anne-Marie and Ed (who are close friends) will hit the road later this summer for Ed’s North America Stadium Tour.
