Banksy, one of the most famous—and anonymous—political graffiti artists in the world, will make his (unauthorized) North American debut when “The Art of Banksy” touches down in Toronto on June 13.

Curated by Steve Lazarides, the exhibit is the largest collection of Banksy works ever assembled, boasting more than $35 million in art. Previously, the exhibit has been shown in New Zealand, the Netherlands and Germany.

Lazarides is Banksy’s former manager, and he told CTV Toronto that he made the exhibit because it’s one of the only ways the public can see Banksy’s art. “At the moment, the museums aren’t putting this kind of work in the museums so the only way for us to get this out for them to see is by bringing it on the road.”

“This is a one of a kind exhibition – you will never again have the opportunity to see so many works in one place. Once the exhibition is over, the artwork will be returned to 40 different art collectors around the world, and the chances that they will be displayed together again in the future are extremely slim,” says Lazarides.

The exhibit will only show at 213 Sterling Road (in Toronto’s west end) for a short time, so don’t miss your shot.
