It’s being called one of the “best live performances ever” and last night, #Beychella was trending all because of Beyonce’s historic performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

It was family affair as Beyonce brought out her husband Jay-Z and Solange to perform some of her hits..,

She also stunned the crowd by reuniting Destiny’s Child as Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams took the stage.

If you think that it’s an over-exaggeration to call last night’s spectacle one of the best live performances ever, don’t take my word for it, check out the reaction from some of the biggest names in music including Chance the Rapper, Sam Smith and Adele who was all of us watching Queen Bey do her thing.

There was historical significance in Beyonce’s performance as she was the first Black female headliner to ever take the Coachella stage and she made sure to acknowledge that powerful statements such as, “The most disrespected woman in America is a black woman, the most un protected person in America is a black woman, the most neglected person in America is a black woman.”

She even led the crowd in a stirring rendition of “Lift Every Voice & Sing”; an anthem commonly referred to as the Black National Anthem.

Beyonce had such an incredible Coachella performance last night that many felt the festival didn’t need to continue today (half jokingly of course because Sunday features some of the biggest names in music such as Cardi B, Migos, Odesza, Portgual The Man; headlined by Eminem).

Truly one of the best performances that I’ve ever seen. If you watched it last night, what did you think?
