…and a WHOLE lot of GREEN!
The Run for the Cure was this morning. I was there. There’s something so wonderful and life-affirming to see so many people (in today’s case 18,000 people…eighteen thousand) come together to achieve a common goal. And with their efforts…and those of countless volunteers…that goal will soon be met. Yep, cancer, you’re going down. The numbers just came in: $4.2 million was raised in Toronto alone today…and province wide? $13.1 million! Outstanding. Kudos to all involved…and see you next year, Sunday, October 6th. -Darryl-
