You may not have to wait as long for a bus, streetcar or subway next month!
The TTC plans to increase capacity on several major lines, including the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line, the 504 King streetcar line and the 320 Yonge bus service.
The Toronto Star reports the changes come after the TTC announced it is now expecting 512-million rides this year, up from initial projections of approximately 503 million.
The difference in rides will boost revenue by $9 million, but $2 million of that will have to go toward funding the service.
Do you ride these lines? Do you see the need for the upgrades? How busy does it get, during peak times?
