The 2012 Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto parade is on Saturday, held along a a 3.5-kilometre stretch of Lake Shore Boulevard!
The following closure will be in effect:
- Lake Shore Blvd. will be closed in both directions from Colborne Lodge Dr. to Strachan Ave. from Saturday at 1 p.m. to Sunday at 6 a.m.
The three-week festival, which launched July 17 and ends on August 12, is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, features Caribbean music, cuisine and performing arts.
- Trains will running trains along the Milton, Kitchener, Barrie and Richmond Hill lines, with additional trips on the Lakeshore lines. Details here.
