Its going to be a tougher weekend than usual, for getting around on the subway! The TTC is closing part of the Yonge-University-Spadina Line…! Details inside!
On Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27, the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway will be closed, between Bloor-Yonge Station and Union Station, during track installation.
All Yonge Subway trains will turn back north at Bloor-Yonge Station.
All University-Spadina Subway trains will turn back north at Union Station.
A frequent, accessible bus service will be provided between Bloor-Yonge Station and Union Station, stopping on Yonge Street at Bloor Street, Wellesley Street, College Street/Carlton Street, Dundas Street, Queen Street and King Street and on Front Street at Bay Street.
Alternative service to downtown:
Take the Bloor-Danforth Subway to St George and transfer to the University-Spadina Subway southbound.
University Avenue to Yonge Street is approximately 650 metres; approximately an 8 minute walk.
Regular subway service resumes 6:00 am, Monday, May 28.
