A solar eclipse is set to take place on Sunday!
At its peak, the eclipse will block out about 94 per cent of the sun’s light and spectators on the West Coast, the Pacific and much of Asia will be treated to a “ring of fire.”
Those in Toronto and southern Ontario will see a partial solar eclipse.
According to Space.com, the eclipse will begin at 8:19 p.m. Sunday and ends at 8:40 p.m.
So, ‘eyes up’ Sunday night!….(unless you’re behind the wheel…!)
if you can’t watch it live, you can also watch it online! Here!

As it is dangerous to look directly at the Sun, observers should use special eye protection or indirect viewing techniques- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_eclipse

Hopefully it won’t be cloudy when the eclipse arrives. I would love to see it and think of Fiona, singing either “The Age of Aquarius”, “Open Up Your Heart and Let The Sunshine In” (from the Flintstones” or “Here Coms the Sun” (by the Beatles). Wanna give it a try folks and sing it to someone you love who is away from you? I know I will, so long as it’s not cloudy! Then I’ll probably sing “Till the Clouds Roll By” or “Singin in the Rain” or” Rainy Day People” or “It Never Rains in Southern California”. Hope we can seel the eclipse!
