Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says he’s down 2 lbs during the latest weigh-in at City Hall Monday! The weigh-in was supposed to be done publicly, but for some reason, the mayor postponed his conference until Noon….!The mayor weighs 310 pounds, down two pounds from his last weigh-in two weeks ago.
Rob Ford and his brother are on a six-month weight-loss challenge to each lose 50 pounds by June 18.
As part of the challenge, cutthewaist.com was launched by the city to encourage Toronto residents to participate and share their dieting stories as well.
Since the mayor began the weight-loss challenge in January, he has lost 20 pounds. He was originally 330 pounds. But he’s been having challenges shedding the pounds, gaining a couple of pounds in recent weeks, and missing three weekly weigh-ins since mid-March.
The weigh-in for Ford’s brother wasn’t immediately available on Monday. At Doug Ford’s last weigh-in April 16, he was 249 pounds, which was relatively unchanged from the previous weigh-in.
He is down 26 pounds from his 275 pounds at the start of the diet.
‘Weigh’ to go, Mr. Mayor! Send your support to our Mayor, here!

I Guess The mayor really does have a “weight and see” attitude, right? On a “Scale” of one to ten, I would give him a ten for effort, but I’m sure he could lose more. Still plenty time till June,. Oh yeah, one more thing Mr. Mayor, GO TO YOUR FAMILY BARBECUE on Canada Day. Hell, all the people in the Pride Parade should go their family barbecues as well. If they don’t have family, have one of their friends (if their genuine) invite them over (“random act of kindness”).
There is such thing as compromise right? Why not have the parade on a day that doesn’t fall on a holiday or a Sunday. Could be on a Friday night or a Saturdy (days are getting longer you know).

Congrats to mayor Ford for losing the two pounds, but I’m sure he could lose more before June rolls around (plenty of time). I guess he has developed a “weight and see” attitude about this. On a “Scale” of one to ten, I would give the mayor a ten for effort even though he knows he could lose more and STAY OUT OF THOSE KFC’S (people notice!).
One more thing, GO TO YOUR FAMILY BARBECUE ON JULY 1, as that’s a national holiday. ALl the peopl in the Pride parade should do so as well. If some of them don’t have family, maybe one member of the Pride group who does can invite the other one who doesn’t over, right? (“a random of act of kindness). Why can’t they compromise? There shouldn’t be politics (not on Canada Day). Why not have it on a Friday evening or on a Saturday now that the days are getting longer? Does it have to be on a holiday?
I’ve read letters in “The Sun” and “The Star” about people complaining that the mayor won’t be attending AGAIN the Pride parade, but I have to agree with the mayor on this one that when it comes to “family,”, that comes first (the hell with politics, especially if it falls on a national holiday!) That”s my opinion anyway!
