From 680news.com:
“According to CityNews, the board of Metrolinx has approved the construction of four light-rail transit (LRT) lines! For Toronto-Eglinton, Scarborough, Sheppard and Finch, effectively reviving former mayor David Miller’s Transit City plan. Once Queen’s Park approves the plan, the provincial agency will be authorized to continue with construction on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT and move toward finishing all four lines by 2020.”
It remains to be seen, what these lines will do to traffic in the city…not to mention the CONSTRUCTION of these lines….sigh….hopefully, the end result will be worth the headaches..!

I guess this would be Toronto’s version of “NightLine’s 2020″ or should we call it “Toronto Transit 2020″. NOt getting a subway there, but an LRT is just as good I think so people who wanted a subway should be satisfied with the LRT and be glad their getting more transportation for their area.
