It’s an electric partnership between Ford and Best Buy – literally!
Ford is working with Best Buy to offer a 240-volt home charging station for owners of the Ford Focus Electric, a battery powered vehicle..!
Ford says a Best Buy Geek Squad agent will conduct a quick electrical survey to ensure the purchaser’s residence can handle the station. They will then schedule what they are calling a “hassle-free” charging station installation.
The station will allow Focus Electric owners to fully charge their cars in as little as three to four hours.
Including installation, the process will run customers about $1,600.
Interesting..I was wondering when we would start hearing about this….I wonder what happens if you live in a condo/apt?….Are you looking forward to leaving gas behind? (I sure am!)

From what I’ve been reading, electric cars seem to be the wave of the future although their travelling distance limitations on one charge is still fairly limited, Maybe when that improves substantially then, that market will pick up alot (Wouldn’t that be electrifying? HA!)
