Regarding road safety:
I am seeing more and more motorized wheelchairs and scooters using the road to drive on. They are usually in the right hand lane or bike lane.
I said something once, in a nice way, to someone that was doing this and told them I didn’t think it was safe when the sidewalk is there for them to use. I got an ear-full, with the person claiming I had something against disabled persons.
What is the law regarding this and do the police regularly ask wheelchair users to get off the street?
Thanks
Andy

* What number do we call to report speeding/eratic drivers
* what number do we call when we see people on their cell phones, especially on highways and driving under the speed limit – very very annoying!!

Something that makes me very upset while i am driving, is watching people through cigarette butts out their windows while driving on the 401,or any other roads. I have had these hit my truck on ocations and it really bother me that these people have no respest for all the other drivers. Please advise if this is ok to do or is it concidered littering. If it is littering, what could the fine be, and i would love to see a Blitz for this.
Thank You
Shawn

Personally (if it hasn’t been done already), I think there should be a law BANNING “cell phone driving” (like they do in California), “Texting”, drinking coffee, putting on makeup, etc (little stupid things that can actually be quite dangerous to themselves and their fellow drivers). Is such a law in the making or ever going to be considrered? Assuming of course the dreiver gets caught!

When a car is pulled over for whatever reason….usually speeding the officer gets out of his car and approaches the other car, why not at this time does he not insist the car move to the nearest street to get off of the main artery of traffic, this is not only irritating as a driver but an accident waiting to happen.
Second question
We hear it in the news quite often when a civilian commits an offense against an officer, the punishment is more severe. So when an officer commits an offense the punishment should be more severe as well. They should be more accountable since they are treated “special”
