“All of a sudden, the lights flashed and the boat tipped like it was turning, but it didn’t return to level”…

 

Those are the words of Laurie Willits who along with her husband Alan were on board the doomed Costa Concordia, which began taking on water last night after it hit a reef off the coast of Tuscany.  The Willits, from Wingham, are fine, but the search is underway for more than 70 who are missing.  Unreal.  And to think…3 months before the 100th anniversary of the Titanic.  Click here for more, including some more chilling photographs.
