I have been dreaming of admiring Hugh Jackman on stage in a sing and dance performance for many years…. Too bad I missed “Oklahoma !” and “The Boy from Oz”. So I cross the Atlantic Ocean on 8th of July straight from Paris, France to Toronto, just for him. I’ll attend three performances, can’t wait.

It is so great that you are making the trip from Paris for this show. You won’t be disappointed with Hugh on stage. Each show has something different and you can’t help but fall in love with this guy! The brilliance of The Boy From Oz was that Hugh found his footing with spontaneous audience interaction. I don’t know who had the better time, Hugh or his audience. There is a reason one show isn’t enough! Safe travels.

I saw Hugh Jackman play Peter Allan (Lisa Minelli’s husband) in New York 5 years ago. Someone was late coming in to sit in the front row, and when she came in he asked where she was from. To which she answered Toronto. He asked “is there was anyone else here from Toronto” to which we answered yes and he invited us down to sit in the front row. The one thing that stuck out in my mind is that there was an 85 year old woman who came to every performance and was in the front row. He knew her name and talked to her every night I suspect to find out how she was doing. Now that is a fan! He was incredible!
