Judging fromt he trailers, “African Cats” seems to be the best of the lot for the entire family, but in my opinion it’s a good idea to start ‘em while their young in terms of informing them of natures’s life cycle before you take the young un’s to see this movie. Apparently it’s been reported that a four year old was taken by her mother to see the movie recently and he was terrified at one scene of a liion devouringa a zebra. Being the natural order of things I think, the mother should have told the child before hand (four years is old enough to understand) by showing pictures in a book and talking to the child or watching a DVD together (an animal show for young children or the like). Preparing a child ahead of time would probably have had the mother avoid this situation.
Still worth a look for the entire family. I’ve seen Earth (not Ocean’s yet) and Earth was pretty impressive.
RainbowRay’s Ratings: 5 bags of popcorn out fo 5 (judging from the trailer)
Water for Elephants maybe a good date movie, but apparently it’s reported that the chemistry between Pattinson and Witherspoon isn’t there. From the trailer, I think the movie has possibilities.
RainbowRay’s Ratings: 4 bags of popcorn out of 5
Madea’s Big Happy Family looks to much like Big Momma’s HOuse ( a movie I hated because they tried to hard with the humor; it didn’t come natural and I’m afraid this one is another one of those movies, but you can judge for yourself). RainboRay’s Ratings: 2 bags of popcorn out of 5
From “peanuts to pocorn” I remain,
